RECENT UPDATES

 

With the lock down imposed in India, millions of people are not able to work, with no income, they are left with no money to buy food. Hunger and starvation have emerged as major threats to communities living on the fringes. An initiative was taken by Kolkata Trust for Human Development (KTfHD) on 6th April 2020 to ensure that all the children including the families of MCWC centre get the necessary dry ration from Mr. Prdaip Das, the premises owner of KTfHD office.

Initiative by Kolkata Trust for Human Development to Combat against COVID 19 Crisis

Another initiative was taken on 10th May 2020 to ensure that the neediest families of Anandapur, Madurdaha locality of Kolkata get the necessary dry ration. Kolkata Trust for Human Development distributed food baskets to 75 families.

Both the location of the distribution was finalised based on the assessment and as recommended by the Board of Trustees.

Received first installment of grant under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 2010 (under prior permission no. 0200004362017, dated 26.07.2018) towards Mother & Child Welfare Centre (MCWC) project pertaining to the financial year 2018-2019 from Indienhilfe e.V. Herrsching, Germany of Rs. 9,00,000/- (Nine lakhs only) on 13th August 2018.

Received full and final installment of grant under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 2010 (under prior permission no. 0200004362017, dated 26.07.2018) towards Mother & Child Welfare Centre (MCWC) project pertaining to the financial year 2019-2020 from Indienhilfe e.V. Herrsching, Germany of Rs. 4,00,000/ (Four lakhs only) on 8th May 2019.
